What Marek Health publishes:
- Intake / initial membership: $299 one time. Its how-it-works page describes this as "lifetime access."
- Labs: a $450 minimum lab purchase, with member discounts (Marek).
- Medication, supplements and follow-up labs: billed separately; no prices published.
- Subscription: Marek says there are no set subscription plans and you can stop any time.
That makes the upfront cost at least $749 before any medication. Marek's own TRT cost article quotes industry ranges (for example, $30 to $80 a month for injectable testosterone alone) but not its own prices. How Marek's model works
Per its how-it-works page:
- Consultation (day one): a 30 to 45-minute session with a health coach.
- Labs (week one): 50+ biomarkers through Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp (4,500+ locations) or at-home phlebotomy in most areas.
- Protocol review (week two): a consultation with a licensed medical provider, who may prescribe.
- Ongoing: quarterly follow-ups with monitoring and adjustments; monthly coach check-ins, refills and follow-up labs per the testosterone page.
Marek says you keep the same provider throughout. Its FAQ is explicit that "Marek Health is not a healthcare clinic" but a platform connecting clients with specialized providers. That's common in telehealth, but it means the practice that prescribes to you is a partner, not Marek itself.
Treatment options
Marek's testosterone page lists testosterone injections and topical testosterone cream. Its broader service list includes supplement protocols and peptide therapies. Labs and medical oversight
Monitoring depth is Marek's strongest point: large baseline panels, quarterly follow-ups and a coach alongside the provider. That matches the Endocrine Society's emphasis on follow-up testing, including hematocrit and PSA (Endocrine Society guideline). It loses points because it describes prescribers only as "licensed medical professionals" without saying whether you'll see a physician or a nurse practitioner.
States, insurance and refunds
- States: Marek says its Guided Optimization program is available in all 50 states, but "specific treatments and diagnostics may be limited to certain states."
- Insurance: direct-pay only. Marek says many customers have paid with HSA/FSA and it provides invoices for reimbursement (FAQ). See online TRT that takes insurance.
- Refunds: its policy says all web sales are final and non-refundable, orders can't be cancelled once placed, and late rescheduling or no-shows can cost up to $50.

Reviewers often praise knowledgeable staff, fast responses and personalized plans. Negative reviews describe medication delays after payment, coaches who stopped responding and unclear requirements before medication was released. We don't quote Reddit posts because we can't verify them.

Safety note
"Optimization" isn't a medical indication.
