Hims currently treats low testosterone with enclomiphene, not testosterone, starting at $99 a month on a 10-month plan paid upfront. It has announced the FDA-approved oral testosterone Kyzatrex and injectable testosterone, but its testosterone page still listed both as "coming in 2026" on September 25, 2026. Hims ranks #7 in our scoring (6.6/10) because, for now, it doesn't offer testosterone replacement itself.

Hims testosterone cost in 2026
Hims prices its enclomiphene plans (enclomiphene alone or with tadalafil) by plan length:

Plans include medication, a treatment plan, ongoing lab work, unlimited provider messaging and shipping. The initial at-home test is $94, credited toward treatment if you're eligible; Hims says follow-up labs happen at 3 and 15 months.
The $99 price means roughly $990 paid upfront (our arithmetic: $99 × 10). That's a large commitment for a medication you haven't tried. Compare with month-to-month options in cheapest online TRT.
What Hims actually prescribes
Testosterone Rx+ combines enclomiphene with tadalafil and supplements. Enclomiphene doesn't replace testosterone; it prompts the body to produce more. It's a compounded medication, and Hims' own page notes enclomiphene products are "not approved or evaluated for safety, effectiveness, or quality by the FDA." On its own, enclomiphene has not been approved by the FDA for any use (OPSS).
Kyzatrex (oral testosterone, FDA-approved) was announced in September 2025 through an exclusive partnership with Marius Pharmaceuticals, with a 2026 launch. Injectable testosterone cypionate was also announced for 2026. Both were still marked "coming in 2026" when we checked, with Hims noting the timing may change. Kyzatrex's label warns it can raise blood pressure, increasing the risk of major cardiovascular events (Hims drug page).

Labs and medical oversight
Hims sends an at-home lab kit, processed in a CLIA-certified lab, with a prepaid return label. A licensed healthcare provider reviews results, and some states require a video visit. Hims doesn't specify whether providers are physicians or NPs/PAs.

Hims' November 2025 article says it serves all 50 states and DC, but its testosterone page states "Testosterone Rx is not available in all 50 states." Check your state at sign-up.
Insurance and HSA/FSA
Insurance isn't required or accepted, and Hims says it doesn't take FSA or HSA at this time. See online TRT that takes insurance.

Hims had a 2.9/5 TrustScore from 9,395 reviews on Trustpilot as of September 25, 2026, covering all its products (hair, weight loss, sexual health and more). Positives: easy signup and automatic deliveries. Negatives: difficulty reaching a human, subscription and cancellation friction, and unexpected charges. 29% of ratings are one-star.
On "Hims testosterone reddit" searches: we don't quote Reddit posts because we can't verify them. The key question is whether you want enclomiphene or testosterone, which is a medical decision for you and your clinician.

If you want enclomiphene without prepaying, Maximus lists it at $99.99/month and Henry at $129/month with labs included. If you want Kyzatrex now, Henry already offers it outside California.
What to watch as Hims launches TRT
When Hims adds injectable testosterone and Kyzatrex, the questions that will decide its score are: what they cost, whether labs stay included, whether the lowest prices still require prepayment, and what monitoring Hims requires for testosterone patients. Kyzatrex's label requires blood pressure monitoring, so look for how Hims handles that. We'll update this review when its testosterone page changes.
Is Hims legit for testosterone?
Hims is a large, publicly traded telehealth company that uses licensed providers and CLIA-certified labs, and it is upfront on its own page that enclomiphene is not FDA-approved or evaluated. The main issue isn't legitimacy, it's fit: if you and your clinician decide you need testosterone replacement, Hims can't provide it yet. Its all-products Trustpilot score (2.9/5) suggests you should read the subscription and cancellation terms carefully.
